Life on Target!

Life on Target!

#MyYFCExperience all began in 2003 in Asaba Delta State when a lady dressed in yellow suit & pants came to speak to us during recess. I was in JSS 1 and I could remember sitting close to her that day. She looked so Angelic, so uniquely small and put together so beautiful. That was the first time I heard of YFC… The rest is history…

History being that God set me up to a Glorious life when I encountered YFC at age 10. I wasn’t too young, neither was I too old, what I was, was LOST, I didn’t know it but I needed direction, I needed guidance…

History being that I went on to meet people who were young but older than me, it was a great way to learn as I didn’t feel intimidated yet I had people to look up to, confidence was picked up as well— I can’t forget the G21 crew & doing a solo with Emmanuel at#RhythmAndLove (where Jesus has it all) at the ever so big Asaba indoor sports hall.

The things I learnt from growing up in YFC are things that I can only tell through my life. The weekly club meetings, the all nights, the picnics, the workshops, the Camp meeting… Having the honor of being a VOLUNTEER! YFC brought out the man locked up in me and set me on the right course… Teaching me to deny ungodliness and worldly lust in this PRESENT WORLD (Titus 2:11-12). That initial encounter was 13 years ago and i say it again I might have gotten LOST if God had not used YFC to give me FOCUS.

Thanks to the Ever so Cheerful, Loving and Blessed lady: Aunty Kemi, thanks to Onyi Agu, Tobore, Chisom Umeh, Rukweve, Henry, Emmanuel, Sumbo, Edna, Onyeka, Samuel, Reinhard, Golibe, Tara, Joan, Se.gun, and the rest of young, focused and talented youths who helped me in YFC to get my LIFE ON TARGET…
