Shedrack Uwem is a JSS2 student and in his words, he said,
"Since January 2026, through the guidance and teachings of Youth for Christ Nigeria, I began to pay closer attention and follow the lessons which they taught seriously. When the topic of our duty as children at home was taught, I realized I had not been fulfilling my responsibilities properly as the only boy in my home. I made a decision to change, and I started helping more at home. This change has made my parents very proud of me, and I have received more love, attention, and even gifts as a result of my improved attitude and service at home.
