Over 150 Students Benefit from Free JAMB CBT Training and Faith-Based Mentorship
In YFC Nigeria, we are committed to supporting young people in their journey toward academic success, personal growth, and a brighter future. As part of this commitment, we organized free JAMB preparation classes and Computer-Based Test (CBT) training sessions for final-year secondary school students preparing for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The program was designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience needed to confidently navigate the CBT examination environment. Through hands-on practice sessions, personalized guidance, and quality academic instruction, participants gained valuable exposure to the format and expectations of the JAMB examination.
Beyond academic preparation, the initiative provided a platform for mentorship, character development, and life coaching. Our team engaged students in meaningful conversations about career choices, educational opportunities, leadership, and life values, helping them make informed decisions about their future.
A unique aspect of the program was its emphasis on spiritual development. We believe that true success involves not only academic excellence but also strong moral and spiritual foundations. Throughout the training period, students were encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and grow in their faith. Each day, a dedicated 30-minute session was set aside for prayer, biblical reflection, and spiritual encouragement. Students also had access to personalized counseling and mentorship, creating opportunities to discuss personal challenges, receive guidance, and build confidence for the future.
The impact of the program has been remarkable. More than 100 students benefited from the free lessons and CBT training, and over 80% of the participants achieved scores above 200 in the 2026 JAMB examination. These results reflect not only the dedication of the students but also the value of providing holistic support that addresses their academic, emotional, and spiritual needs.
